This is a hand signed, by Jim McDermott, custom pool cue! It was not a limited run. This cue is 1 of 1.

I got it a long time ago and now it's time to let it go to a more appreciative home. I don't have much information on it. I've looked over the years. I was told it was for someone who owned a pool parlor near or around the Chicago area. Harold's, is what I was told...

Hence the H on the inlays. Not sure if it's a 19 or 19.5 oz cue. Honestly I don't have a scale accurate enough to weigh it, so I'm not gonna lie. But it is not a heavy cue. No way it's 20 oz... Honestly it's probably 19 or even lighter. I've never played with anything so solid, soft, and consistent feeling and I've shot a few before. Similar to a Dale Perry I used for awhile or an old Meucci.

It comes with 2 shafts, both with the masterpiece joint, both straight! The cue itself has very little wear, a scuff in the lacquer here or there and a little blueing on one of the shafts from chalk... They're all like that. I didn't use this cue regularly.

I've only shot a few games in my life with this. And it has spent most of its time stored, horizontally, in a case, in a humidity controlled environment. It didn't spend anytime in my garage lol. The only thing is that the butt cap needs replacing!

I took it out to sell it and realized the butt cap is now white. This guy Harold must have been some guy or someone significant to Jim because I have never seen a cue signed by him, like that before! And I have looked for decades. It is in the lacquer and you can feel it with your fingers.

If there is anyone out there who can give me any more information on this cue, I'd be appreciative. Also only serious offers please. I'm willing to work a little.

Check out my other stuff! These were things that I bought in my 20's when I had way too much expendable income! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
