Custom 03 / 1989 Paul Mottey Pool Cue with 3 Shafts (2 Maple + Cuetec Cynergy)

  

Custom 03/89 Paul Mottey cue. 1 maple shaft 29 (tiger soft tip). 2nd maple shaft 29-3/8 (G2 soft). 19.8 oz on my scale with either maple shaft.

Maple shafts are 12.8 mm at the ferrule with my calipers. Butt and original maple shafts are 5/16x14 piloted.

3rd shaft Cuetec Cynergy 12.5 w/ Mezz United piloted joint (which uses same 5/16x14 thread), factory Tiger Sniper tip. Screws down tight and flush, plays excellent.

19.6 oz w/ the Cynergy shaft. The Cynergy is a new shaft I only tried once to test. Butt has no dings anywhere that I can discern and I looked very closely. This cue is in pristine condition and plays amazing. Very easy to generate cue ball action but also easy to control and pocket precisely, very well balanced and consistent.
