Gabe Owen Custom Pool Cue

  
Thinning out my collection and offering this custom cue built by Gabe Owen. Gabe, a professional pool player and former U. Open 9 ball champion, learned the art of cue building from his father, world renowned cue builder Bob Owen and Gabe has become an excellent builder himself. Gabe's cues are known for their excellent craftsmanship as well as playability. This cue is constructed from some beautiful Australian Yellow Box Burl wood. The joint and butt cap are red Snake Juma (although it is more orange than red). The wrap is a nice cognac leather which feels great in the hands. The Kielwood shaft with the juma joint gives this cue an excellent feel and hit.

The very unusual rings on this cue add some beautiful art to the function. This cue, built in 2024 has seen only very light play. The only way to distinguish it from a brand new cue is a little chalk stain on the tip. It also comes with a set of joint protectors, custom built by Steve Kornele.
